DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

The City of Sierra Madre contracted with LRM to develop a streetscape concept for four blocks of the City's downtown area. The project area includes Sierra Madre Boulevard, from Hermosa to Baldwin Avenue, and Baldwin Avenue from Sierra Madre to Montecito. The project consists of reconceptualization of the street configuration to provide more parking, additional landscaping, street trees, and pedestrian amenities. A related goal of the project is slowing of traffic along Sierra Madre to increase pedestrian safety and provide better visibility for local merchants.
